guitar lesson as usual on Saturday. 2dae I learned some new methods of playing the guitar, including a different of playing tabs. I find it quite interesting. I had abit of a difficulty at first, but i soon got the hang of it thanks to help from my friend.
After guitar, followed Janice and Hui Qi, took cab 2 the Esplanade for the dnance performance. Met Kai Ting n Hui Ping, among others, soon after reaching there. We chatted together while waiting to enter the theatre for the performance.
The performance, which is sponsored by Singapore Press Holdings Foundation was a eye-opener for me. It was very interesting and griped the attention of many. I enjoyed watching the performance. After the reception, I, Kai Ting, Hui ping and Siew Hui went home together, to conclude a fine day.

2dae DMD Common Test was scheduled in the afternoon 4.30pm. So, i stayed at home 2 do some last minute studying yea. Left for school at 3++, reached sch at 4, go LT, met ethel and liyana , then i sit there continue study again haiz... At 4.30pm is time 2 go in liao. As I flipped through the paper, I was abit worried at first. But as i started doing, confidence came back 2 me again. So overall the paper was manageable, except for the Sction C last question very hard, had 2 squeeze my way through. Section B was ok, wat i studied all got come out. So overall, the paper was manageable for me, hope can get good result.

Today went to school for Common Test: ComMaths. While climbing down the stairs to my seat, i very nearly fall down again haiz.. but nvr mind that la. Well ComMaths was quite manageable for me, 6 qns choose 5. So i did all except for the one on Relations yea. Even though I finished the paper early, I decided to sit through the paper to check and check for careless mistakes. Overall, I am pleased by the way Maths had gone. 1 Down, 1 more to go...
So tmr is DMD and there is alot of notes to study and cramp them into mind. Tmr Test start at 4.30-6pm so late haha. Advantage is tt got more time to study, which is good. So again, i wish E4 good luck for tmr's DMD. Good Luck 0804!!

Today I joined back the AWWA Soccer team and their training session at aroud 8.30am. It was the first time i played soccer since the start of poly. So 2dae training was a pleasant experience for me. I scored a penalty during the penalty training, and it bought relief to me. They also trained shooting and heading techniques. I scored a lucky goal during the shooting practice. After which, we had a small game which ended 2-2. Through this soccer training, i realised that anything is possible if we try our best. It also showed me tt it is important to trust and believe in my own ability, despite our disabilities.
2 daes more to the Common Tests and i am stil not yet 2 the standard as yet. Doing revision this few daes , on top of projects. i hope i can do well. on the same note, i wish the class all the best of luck for the upcoming Common Tests. Good Luck 0804!

haiz...Wat is the real meaning of holidays??They are meant for students 2 take a break from stress and study.But is it true??No. I had to go 2 school regularly to meet my friends to do many projects until the late afternoon. Then today I spent the whole day on my laptop 2 do the Database Project. The only time i had a bit of a break is during the class BBQ with 0804.
So, this is already the 2nd week of the term break le and nxt wk, week 11, still got Common Test. Thus, stil got 2 revise. After the term break, sch begins as usual and we had to prepare for the CS presentation and need 2 wear formal wear lor.

16th June 2008, Monday
This day was definitely a enjoyable day for me. I shall tell u the reason in a while...
In the morning, I went to school for extra ComMaths lesson from 9-11am. the teacher go through the 2 Common Tests with us and 2 prepare us for the upcoming Common Tests next wk lor. After class I went straight home to prepare for the very thing tt I had been looking forward to for quite some time.....the 0804 Class BBQ!!!
So, I was allowed 2 bring camera on my own for the first time, to snap photos for the memories. I met up with the class at Hougang Interchange at around 6.10pm. After the arrivals of all, we proceeded 2 Roy's house for the BBQ. My friends all helped 2 take the food out to the BBQ pit. Just feeling abit funny when i didnt manage to help them haiz...Well the food was veri nice and i really enjoyed myself alot..yeah. So i got eat quite alot. But there was a little problem tt made me very uncomfortable. I was trying 2 turn myself, crossed my legs, and then lost my balance. At tt time, peck ying was in front of me sia...then i at tt moment hold the back of her shirt 2 prevent me from falling haiz. I apologise to her like so many times lor... I sometimes dislike myself, losing my balance at the wrong time lor wth. Honestly i was really angry with myself lor and i was feeling very down for a while bcos of that. Overall, I really enjoyed myself alot yesterday. Thanks for the memories...0804!!

I shall blog about yesterday's school and Sec sch BBQ, since yesterday got no time...
Yesterday was quite a busy day for me. I went to school in the morning to discuss and do our Thinking Skills project with my group. We took some time to decide on a problem tt we are going 2 solve. Unfortunately, we had to change the problem for 2 times, cos the problem was not really expandable. I suggested on the problem of helping the disabled students in poly, but the content became limited. We got stuck with the problem definition tt we decided to go eat lunch first and continue the discussion along the way. Finally we decided on the problem of the queueing in Koufu.
At the night, i went for my sec sch BBQ held nearby. It was the first time I met since the end of the O Levels. This time, i was determined to ensure tt it wil enjoyable for me. Through this, i hope tt they will change their impression of me, after my forgettable experience in Sec 3 and 4. I really hope tt they will re-accept me as a friend.

for 2dae is juz a normal weekday for me, the only difference is tt it is a holiday, not a school day. So...2dae spent my time doing revision for upcoming Common Tests. I am coming on fine with ComMaths, juz tt abit unclear abt Binary substraction and Relations...the rest of the topics were manageable. DMD...got to memorise alot of notes. Also some of the notes are super long so dont want 2 print, so i summarise the important points and copy them down. Haiz.. got 2 cope with projects some more lor. 2dae also used the time 2 scan and defragment my computer, cos Photoshop is lagging lol.

Independent Living Skills (ILS)Camp 200717-19 Dec 2007
The camp tt bought us together til now....
During the December holidays, my friends and I went for the Independent Living Skills Camp 2007. Everyone was looking forward to a very fun camp which lies ahead. We were tasked to prepare our own breakfast, with a budget of $20 for each group. The facilitators planned an activity which allowed us to understand each other’s positive strengths, and
thus use them to overcome our physical disabilities.
Our teamwork and cooperation was also shown through The Invisible Maze, whereby we are challenged to find our way to the end of the maze. It really was an interesting experience for us. Through the Changi Board Walk, our determination to overcome physical obstacles was being put to the test, as we were tasked to pick an item which represents us, and this allows to know more about ourselves and our friends.
We were given the freedom to plan our own activities. We decided to go for bowling. It turned out a very successful as all of us had so much fun. It was a first time for several of us, and it produced overwhelming results. Throughout the camp, I have really enjoyed myself fully and I am sure my friends feel the same way too!!

yoyo 2dae i wan 2 blog about abit about some of the memories i had with friends...
It was on 3rd May, Saturday. My friends and I had Guitar class as usual at ACCESS, but this day was more special as our Eduational Guidance Officer, Juliet, as leaving AWWA after 4 years, to take up a teaching post at Ngee Ann Polytechnic to teach Psychology course. So Amanda, Sylvia, Ting Jun and me worked together 2 plan a farewell party in ACCESS, specially for her. Due to this event, our teacher, Daniel, allowed the lesson to be ended early, so tt we had more time 2 prepare for this emotional occasion.
In the afternoon, those clients tt were invited by us, slowly came in 2 join us for the event. By tt time, Ting Jun, amanda and me were already rehearsing verbally about our plan. For many of us, the nerves had started 2 show already. After a while, my good friend Amanda went to tell Juliet that we have a surprise for her in the conference room.
The party was officially started by my friend Yuan Ping, who was our MC for the day.The outline of the party was a photo presentation slides of activities which Juliet had attended during her time with TEACH ME, which included the much-remembered Independent living Skills(ILS) Camp 06 and 07 and the malacca Trip 2007. The slide show was done by me, with the help from Amanda, Ting Jun, Han Wei and some other clients. Thereafter was a speech of Thanksgiving and appreciation by Amanda.The speech was abt the times when Juliet took time on saturday just to come to ACCESS to help a group of us to tuition english, and also helping many of us get through the O Levels. Juliet went up next to speak as well. She was so touched that she teared.
Coincidentally tt day was also my birthday. So, My good friends gave me a surprise by celebrating my birthday for me. I was so surprised tt i covered my face in my hands. This yr was the first time tt i had my birthday celebated with all my good friends. I thank them for their surprise.
Up next was reception time where we all had lunch together. meanwhile, we continued 2 write our well-wishes for Juliet in the Scrapbook. After all was done, my friend Sylvia represented all of us 2 present the Scrapbook 2 Juliet. And with that we ended our farewell party for her. Emotions were running high and Juliet thanked us individually for planning the party.
All in all, I felt tt our our hard work had paid off and the party was indeed a sucess.Thanks to all the clients who came for the party.Thanks Janice, who helped us order the food, Ting Jun, Sylvia, and most importantly, Amanda, who worked 2 plan this party for Juliet.

Comments from people and yr friends are part of life. i am trying 2 learn and change myself 2 be a better person sia. but seriously dont noe why i get emo by them so easily sia. muz look at positively and let it motivate myself 2 learn from them.
2dae some of my friends say tt my bag very heavy, i tink i agree with them lor. got 2 lighten it le lol.
Oh ya today java was manageable for me, but got careless mistake. muz learn from tt mistake 2 score better in the nxt test. got a lot of work 2 do, got 2 study for Common tests and do 5 projects at a time zzz haizz...
So, end of term 1 le. new lease of life in Poly. Honestly, poly life was much better than the torture of secondary sch life lor. 8 weeks of poly seem 2 pass very fast haha. My classmates have been very very helpful 2 me definitely, i really enjoyed my time with them so far..i would like 2 thank all of them for helping me as much as possible Thanks....So far so good, hope this continues. During breaktime, also join up with Roy, Ethel tt group of ppl. (Sec sch recess always alone sia wth so sianzz so lonely). They r able 2 understand me so it benefitss me and allows me 2 express myself and mingle with them. Sometimes they also help me carry my laptop lor. Thanks alot guys !!!

yoyo! 2daes lessons were short 1. OOPP got yet another project zzz. Can someone help me??OOP was also kind as we were dismissed at 11am instead of the usual 12pm. So break from 11-3pm lor, go library with my friends go do Comummunication Skills Project haha. Then go 4 the briefing for the Complementary Studies lor. i dunno wat 2 choose as yet....wait until end of semester 1 bah. 2dae i really saw the importance of having friends. 2dae while walking home, I tripped while coming down the slope sia, m y leg bleed abit lol. then Weiye, ly, n Liyana help me up, so grateful 2 them:) thanks !!

haiz...bad week coming up...really looking forward to the holidays 3 days later. Many projects and tests are flowing 2 me, not to forget abt the assignments too!! haiz..sianz n stress lor, but wat can we do? Just get on with life lor no choice. 2dae ComMaths do Revision 4 Common Tests. I really hope 2 do well for the Common Tests haha. 2dae clear misunderstanding with Weishen, regarding DMD project grouping haiz. Sec sch grouping nightmare nearly haunted me back on Monday lor, cos i tot tt Weishen purposely dont want 2 be group with me, but he said he was still deciding at tt time lol. Weishen, sorry abt the misunderstanding. I really, really hope tt sec sch history dont repeat itself. At time i feel tt some ppl also rarely tok 2 me automatically 1 , muz start conversation with them b4 they can tok 2 me lor...haiz..stress lor. And also Peng Meng also told me 2dae tt alot of ASAP also havent tell me yet loor haiz...more stress.ppl, u guys ASAP 2 tel me faster, then like tt is better 4 me, i wil feel more confident with u guys la. If possible, also tell me abt my positive points, ie if there is any la.
