I enjoy to be with my befrienders, thats for sure! I found a certain happiness when being with them. I feel happy with I'm with clique. However, this happiness is very different, as I can interact and learn from them.
They helped me to celebrate my birthday and I was very happy, as I feel close to them and also clique people. Their gifts are very nice, and Amanda and Shawn also gave me 2 picks to motivate me to perform well in guitar and be a good leader.
School isnt really good so far, with the constant fear of my results dropping at the end of semester. I think I have made up my mind to work hard and chase a place in NUS next year, be it being pursuing Psychology or Computer Sciences im not too sure yet, but most lkely the latter option.
Mr Simon, my PEM recently showed us on the various cut-off points for the various courses in University. The first option which i was interested in, was the Computer Science in NUS, and its minimum requirement is GPA of 3.6.
Recently, I have put pressure on myself in Year 3, because Year 3 Semester 1 is perhaps the only time in 3 years which, even though I aren't alone while in school, it is a time where I really had to manage almost everything on my own, such as schoolwork, projects and tests.
Professional and Interpersonal Communication Skills the mock interview was quite well, just that my classmates say I kept repeating the same points some of the time. ICT presentation was also quite ok with Poh Kim and LiPing, both of whom has been a great help to me in school, especially during Network Sever and Security lab lessons.
NSS lab test 1 went very well, and I got a personal email of congratuations from Mr Simon the lecturer himself. For that test, i think I was one of the highest possibly, so I'm pleased.
NSS Assignment 1 is done, a research assignment on the topic of Nessus Port Scanners. I hope I can do well for that part of the grading assessment. Projects this semester, 2 of which I would be doing them individually. I hope I can do well in them too.
Guitar has been practically going well, as we have just went fr a performance at Yishun, playing the song, "When You Say Nothing At All". One of my befrienders, Grace, was in attendance to support us, as she is also in attachment internship with AWWA. SO, I could see her almost every week saturday, when i go for guitar practices.
The performance went well. But more importantly is the need to play together as a team, instead of as individuals, which just seems to be the case since SA 2009...However, I still hope that this team would still come good. For now, we would be concentrating on efforts to prepare for Special Awards 2010! Then, after which, i think it is of vital importance that we focus more on teamwork, going back to the learning of elementary skills such as chords for all, so that the team is progressing at the same pace.
