yoyo 2dae i wan 2 blog about abit about some of the memories i had with friends...

It was on 3rd May, Saturday. My friends and I had Guitar class as usual at ACCESS, but this day was more special as our Eduational Guidance Officer, Juliet, as leaving AWWA after 4 years, to take up a teaching post at Ngee Ann Polytechnic to teach Psychology course. So Amanda, Sylvia, Ting Jun and me worked together 2 plan a farewell party in ACCESS, specially for her. Due to this event, our teacher, Daniel, allowed the lesson to be ended early, so tt we had more time 2 prepare for this emotional occasion.

In the afternoon, those clients tt were invited by us, slowly came in 2 join us for the event. By tt time, Ting Jun, amanda and me were already rehearsing verbally about our plan. For many of us, the nerves had started 2 show already. After a while, my good friend Amanda went to tell Juliet that we have a surprise for her in the conference room.

The party was officially started by my friend Yuan Ping, who was our MC for the day.The outline of the party was a photo presentation slides of activities which Juliet had attended during her time with TEACH ME, which included the much-remembered Independent living Skills(ILS) Camp 06 and 07 and the malacca Trip 2007. The slide show was done by me, with the help from Amanda, Ting Jun, Han Wei and some other clients. Thereafter was a speech of Thanksgiving and appreciation by Amanda.The speech was abt the times when Juliet took time on saturday just to come to ACCESS to help a group of us to tuition english, and also helping many of us get through the O Levels. Juliet went up next to speak as well. She was so touched that she teared.

Coincidentally tt day was also my birthday. So, My good friends gave me a surprise by celebrating my birthday for me. I was so surprised tt i covered my face in my hands. This yr was the first time tt i had my birthday celebated with all my good friends. I thank them for their surprise.

Up next was reception time where we all had lunch together. meanwhile, we continued 2 write our well-wishes for Juliet in the Scrapbook. After all was done, my friend Sylvia represented all of us 2 present the Scrapbook 2 Juliet. And with that we ended our farewell party for her. Emotions were running high and Juliet thanked us individually for planning the party.

All in all, I felt tt our our hard work had paid off and the party was indeed a sucess.Thanks to all the clients who came for the party.Thanks Janice, who helped us order the food, Ting Jun, Sylvia, and most importantly, Amanda, who worked 2 plan this party for Juliet.
