AWWA K-Box
Hi all, since a quite a long period of time nvr blog liao..
Holidays...now til mid-oct
Here to blog about yesterday's eventful day...here goes..
Yesterday, 30 August 2008, Saturday...
Went to AWWA(ACCESS) for a sing-and-harmonise 'workshop'
There met with Amanda( and her bro), HP, kristine, Hui Qi etc for the workshop.
the instructor taught us how to sing songs without the use of instruments, which was a new learning experience for me and the others. We were taught to sing the song The Reason, by Hoobastank. We were split into 4 groups of two to sing the different parts of the song. I was paired up with Boon Keng to do the bass part, which is also the background music of the song. After a few times of practice, some of us managed to get the hang of the song.
After the workshop, we went to the AMK K-Box, which is organised by Janice. While eating lunch, some of us(me, kristine, amanda and HuiQi) was discussing abit about our school life. I realised tt most of us clients share a somewhat similar problem, which is the problem of 'suffering' from a so called, communication barrier between us and other people. That I understand, having gone through the exact experience during my secondary school days. I also understand that we, as clients, are able 2 understand each other better.
After that we all went in to the K-Box. Yesterday was the first time I went to a KBox session with my AWWA friends. Had a fun time there with them(sheena joined us in between). it was a fun experience la, especially seeing Janice sing along with us also haha, i muz say tt she was quite a goood singer lol. The way she sings was indeed funny 2 watch hahas, as much laughter filled the room. The atmosphere was just fantastic, even I had a fun time. Left there at abt 6+pm.
Took some photos along the way, next time then post it up, cos i do not have them at this point of time.
