Today went for guitar lesson again. This time was quite different as thee was an introduction of a new gutar instructir from the AWWA elderly services, Arvind. So, today he came to guide us. Daniel couldnt come, but Justin did arrive a while later. So, practice started with some sort of fluidity as we perfoormed the Cannon in D song piece to show the new instructor. I tink it was rather pleasing that this time the rythm and timing was improved, at least better than the previous week where mistakes were quite obvious, which is a disppointment.



We also get to witness at first hand the silky skills demostrated by the new instructor. And I tink that he will be a addition to the guitar team, and there is more teachers to guide us, so is positive.



Justin helped guide me personally, while the new instructor helped guide Amanda, while the others practiced on their own, on chords etc, ensuring that they are able to play each chord well. Arvind taught Amanda some methods of strumming with chords, while Justin tried to help me place the fingerings for the G chord. Somehow, I didnt manage to keep hold of the correct way of pressing the G chord, despite numerous attempts of trying, haiz..Admittedly, I was very low in confidence at that time. On the other side of things, while practicing, I saw that Amanda is able to play quite well for the Cannon in D chorus. I wasnt at all surprised that she was able to manage it, so I extend my congratulations to her, the inspirational star player (:



In the meantime, Arvind and Justin were also sharing some tips among themselves etc, then Arvind was also demostrating to us some songs that he could play, eg. Starry Night, Stop and Stare, among others. Then we also combined play Right Here Waiting, 关怀方式. They played the chords while Amanda and me tried to combine with them by playing the melody, and I have to say, it was a interesting experience.


I also help guide Yuan Ping on her chords while for most of the lesson is more of self practice, and getting the playing technique right. Practiced until about 1.30pm before we left, after we knew that we were over the time limit haha...

After that, went for luch with Philip and shawn with Kang Wei, then we helped Kang Wei tuition A Level mathematics until 5pm plus, then went home rest.

I am also not so good lor, compare with sharman....So I may not be able to get in for the chords de also lor. Just keep on trying, not to the last min.. wont know who will be the 2nd one to get in. Everyone still got the chance as long as dun give up.
If cannot but see ppl can dun nid emo de... try harder lor. Last week got no sound coming out for the fast part of CID but now I can play abt 10 notes of it liao, emo wont get u anywhere"
